PRAGUE TOUR 2018
We are excited to finally announce that deposits are now open for our Prague Tour in March next year. We have provided more information below, please read it carefully and if you have any questions, do not hesitate ask Ewan or any Exec member! The dates for the tour are Friday 16th March 2018 to Friday 23rd March 2018.
There are two packages on offer, please note: The general split is expected to be Chorus in hotel (package 1) and Orchestra in hostel (package 2). If you wish to go for hostel accommodation, please contact us to confirm before paying the deposit - you will need to pay the £3 orchestra membership price to choose this option).
Payments will be split as follows (Package 1 price/Package 2 price):
Deposit (due by Sunday 17th December): £50/£50;
Payment 1 (due by Sunday 21st January): £160/£146;
Payment 2 (due by Sunday 18th February): £160/£146.
Please contact us when necessary if you need an extension on these dates.
Our itinerary includes concerts on Sunday 18th March and Tuesday 20th March, plenty of time to explore Prague with suggestions we'll give you in an information booklet, organised and recommended excursions (currently including Prague Castle, Pilsen Factory and Karlovy Vary but subject to confirmation) and a group meal on final night with everyone on tour.
Our concert repertoire will be:
Dvorak New World Symphony (Orchestra only);
Dvorak Te Deum;
Beethoven Mass in C;
Smetana Vltava – The Moldau (Orchestra only);
Places will be available on a first come, first served policy. THERE ARE ONLY 92 PLACES AVAILABLE and we expect these to go quickly so if you want to come, make sure you get in early! To confirm your place, you need to purchase the deposit and fill in the personal information form.
Due to the limited number of spaces, we are only giving places to singers and players who will participate in our concerts. If you want to bring someone else that is not a member of Chorus/Orchestra, you will not be able to stay in our allocation of rooms.
The hotel accommodation (package one) is a mix of twin/double (they can be either) and triple rooms. Therefore we regret to say there is no option of having a single room. Please bear this in mind. We will endeavour to allocate rooms to your requests but we may be limited in what we can do.
The hostel accommodation (package two) is dorm style accommodation with 6-10 beds in a room.
We will not be organising a group flight to Prague because of the number of different options available. If you do want to travel by alternative transport to coach, you should only not book your flights once your place is confirmed on the tour. You will still have to pay the price for the return coach transport as we need to get your seat to Prague!
